Our Favourite Shows — Showy Danza Episode 7
To honour baseball playoffs, we’re throwing you a curveball: Instead of reviewing TV that’s really bad — or so bad it’s good — we’re talking about shows that, you know, are actually fun to watch.
There are some obvious picks, but Dan MacRae, Christi Olson and Dan Yates also defend some schlock: Saturday Night Live, That’s My Bush, Life on Mars and Medium (for reasons more elaborate than, “Hey, that’s the most tolerable Arquette”).

It’s pretty hard to hate Hot in Cleveland, an original series brought to us by TV Land (the same channel that taught me about Green Acres and Maude in the late 1990s). Do you like things from the past? Hey, remember those shows you used to love? Hot in Cleveland hopes you do. The show will appeal to two kinds of nostalgic crowds: fans of the ’90s and fans of the late ’00s (Betty White, yo).
We’re talking about Drop Dead Diva on this week’s Showy Danza.
In Episode 3 of Showy Danza, we learn an important lesson about HIV/AIDS in “a very special episode” of Hang Time and debate the legacy of a TNBC show that’s not Saved by the Bell.
